The Dream Plan

Will solving all your practical problems such as paying bills or taxes be what makes your stay in the UK truly memorable? Hopefully not! Living out your dreams should be what you remember in years to come!

Even though a typical relocation normally lasts between one or two years, it does not mean that you have one or two full years to experience all of the things you and your family set out to do.

A stressed woman looking at her watchWhen it comes down to it, the time you have often goes by all too quickly.

Think about it this way - in the beginning of the relocation it will take three or four months to settle in, and when it is time to go home, you end up spending the last two months planning your repatriation and saying your goodbyes.

This means that you easily end up spending half a year focusing on practical things rather than on appreciating that you live in another country. If you relocate for only one year it effectively means that you only have half the time you thought you did, to do all of the important things you decided on before your relocation started.

So to ensure you optimise your stay in the UK without forgetting anything or getting too stressed in the process, you should make a Dream Plan to ensure you actually live out your dreams.
