The Danish Club

For over 140 years the Danish Club in London has been a centre of the Anglo-Danish community in the UK.

For some a home from home. For others a place to meet their friends and business partners – a venue for a private lunch or dinner in either of the two restaurants or the garden – weather permitting or a quiet drink in the bar.

The Club is open from 8am to 2am - and for your business WIFI is available throughout the Club.

During World War II the Danish Freedom Council met at the Club to plan its role in the liberation of Denmark. Over the decades many of Denmark’s prominent men and women have been guests here, including the Club’s patrons, King Christian X, King Frederik IX and, today, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe.

Those wishing to spend time with Danish and Anglo-Danish friends and colleagues can do so in the surroundings of a splendid townhouse.

Throughout the year a range of different events is organised which cater for all age groups. Five days a week and occasionally for Sunday lunch, those wanting to enjoy Danish food can do so in the heart of London.
