Living in the UK – particularly London – is expensive compared to many places in the World. The cost of living will of course depend on the individual situation of each person, but you still need to be prepared financially.

Soaring property prices combined with the most expensive transport system in the world has put London above Tokyo, Geneva, Paris and New York. The only city to beat London is Moscow, which tops the poll for the second year running.

However, the cost of living in the UK is more often than not outweighed by the opportunities that arise from Living in the economic centre of Europe.
